A dark Song

a

A determined young woman and a damaged occultist risk their lives and souls to perform a dangerous ritual that will grant them what they want. The ritual performed in the movie is the Abramelin Operation, an occult rite attempted by gnostics such as Alleister Crowley, meant to obtain "the knowledge and conversation" of the ritualist's guardian angel. Great Irish indy horror that somehow missed out on a festival run or theatrical release in our country.

White Chamber

Paul Rachid

In the near future civil war rages in The United Kingdom. A woman wakes up in a blindingly white cuboid cell. Using its sophisticated functionality, her captor tortures her for information; information she claims not to have - or does she?
Skilfully playing with the spectators expectations Paul Rachid's third film somehow reminds of a Vincenzo Natali movie (Cube, Nothing), but with a more relevant and contemporary approach, raising questions about the perception of truth and reality, and the use of interrogation methods.
